How to download Instagram stories

On iPhone (iOS)

  1. Open Instagram and find the story.
  2. Tap the share icon (paper plane) or the three dots, then tap Copy link.
  3. Open Safari and go to DoniPosts.
  4. Tap the box, paste the link, and tap Download.
  5. When the preview shows up, tap Download again and confirm.

Tip: Safari saves to the Files app under Downloads. Open it, tap Share, then Save to Photos to move it into your camera roll.

On Android

  1. Open Instagram and find the story.
  2. Tap the three dots or the share icon and pick Copy link.
  3. Open Chrome and visit DoniPosts.
  4. Paste the link and tap Download.
  5. Tap Download on the preview to save it.

Tip: Chrome saves files to your Downloads folder. You'll also see it in your Gallery app within a few seconds.

On PC or Mac

  1. Open instagram.com in your browser and open the story.
  2. Copy the URL from the address bar, or use the three dots and Copy link.
  3. Open DoniPosts in a new tab.
  4. Paste the link with Ctrl+V (or Cmd+V on Mac) and click Download.
  5. Click Download under the preview.

Tip: Your browser puts the file in your Downloads folder. Most browsers also show it at the top or bottom of the window.
